I have had moments when Stelara hasn't been so good for psoriatic arthritis, but at the moment I'm thinking I will see how it goes with the other problems and how I get through the winter before deciding to go on to Cosentyx. Stelara can be a bit up and down for psoriatic arthritis but I'm finding since upping my does to 90mg because I'm at 95kg it is doing better.

I've not had any upper respiratory infections that I could put down to any of the Bio's, but yes it is something to watch out for on all of them. So if you are getting them on Stelara I would imagine it will be the same on Cosentyx, but the only way to find out is to try it and see.

If you want to research Cosentyx further Jim is right a search (available to members only) will bring you in a lot of results, and I do always post the latest news on all prescribed treatments so a regular log-in and check will help.

Hi Fred,
I had read some of your stellara journey when i starting mine, it's a pity it has all the ups and downs as when it works it works very well doesn't it.
Maybe the upper respiratory thing would have happened anyway but I suppose as with all these treatments everyone has different reactions to each treatment.
My derm has a small few people on cosentyx currently he said so hopefully soon we can all have a bit more experience from people who have used it
Thanks and good luck with the change over if that is what you are going to do
