After a little research I have found that the alcohol limits placed on the post for Acitretin, are imposed by the government.
Having spoken to numerous Dermatlogist's, including a Consultant, there is no adverse effect to you if you drink alcohol, the only downside is that, Acitretin is based heavily on vitamin A, alcohol in turn, surpresses vitamin A from getting into your system.
The conclusion is: if you drink excessive alcohol while taking Acitretin, the benefits
will be minimal, until sustained alcohol free periods are observed.
