Have you ever driven before?
I took driving lessons about 20 years ago but ,when it came to doing the test, my then husband pulled the plug on it.
He didn't want me to become 'too independent' (his words).
Probably shouldn't admit this but, when he worked nights, I would take the kids to school in the car whilst he slept. School was an hours walk there and back so it saved me a lot of time. He never knew. :-)
That's good news ... At least you should be able to pick it up fairly easily again
And no you probably shouldn't admit it. but you have I'm glad your o/h now is happy for you to be independent ... Good luck with the lessons
