Hi Debbie sorry I wasn't here earlier to see your post. But I see Caroline has given you some first class advice about what you should and should not eat with the tablets.
Her advice to slow the treatment down is correct in fact the Fumaderm leaflet suggests that it is better to reduce the treatment and build up slower
Quoted from Fumaderm leaflet
I'm sure by cutting down you should see a lessening of the adverse effects

Quote:Every patient absorbs the active ingredients of Fumaderm differently. The absorption takes place in the small intestine about 5-6 hours after taking the tablets. This time interval between taking the tablets and absorption of the active ingredients by the body is important to know, so you can associate any side effects with taking the tablets. So I think yes keep eating, and drinking plenty between 1.5-2 litres a day and try to follow carolines food ideas
The improvement of your psoriasis as well as the side effects in the gastrointestinal tract are the effects of the Fumaderm therapy on your organism. Therefor distinct side effects indicate a wanted but at the moment excessive effect on your organism. If you already experience severe side effects with one or two Fumaderm tablets daily, this means that you can absorb the active ingredients particularly well, in this case you should contact your treating doctor, who can adjust the proposed dosing regimen. Thus the success of the treatment will not be impaired. Please note that the side effects in the gastrointestinal tract often occur prior to the first improvements to the skin
