Hi Mayahanddizzys mum a big to the club. You have come to a great place full of fellow sufferers who know of the desperate feelings... I spent most of my adult life covered up even in hot weather when everyone else was in shorts and yes I've shed bucket loads of tears as psoriasis has crept down my forehead from my scalp.. I have skipped work until it cleared. Not something I'm proud of. But unless you have the disease you can't know
I hope the cyclosporin gives you some relief so you can at least face the family again.
It's a shame you can't get to a dermatologist as there are so many good treatments now available, including the one I'm on which has had me clear for over three years.
Read on here of the many alternatives to cyclosporin they could put you on and when you do get to see a dermatologist you can be armed with the best knowledge available.
Meantime if you have any questions just shout. As you can see there are plenty here to give support and advice
Good luck and thanks for finding us
