Hi Cath. Four different medications, hey, that must get you down. I wonder why you can´t use a lot of these creams and ointments, for any length of time. What are the repercussions. I was using dovobet for years and only found out that i shouldn´t have used it for so long, my doctor didn´t advise me otherwise. Again i don´t know what the dangers were, but i don´t think anything has changed healthwise. Apart from my PS, i feel fit as a fiddle.
As i have said i go over from the U/K, to Tenerife for the winter, and when i get back home i make an appointment for a general checkup, which they seem to call it an M.O.T. they check my blood pressure, cholesterol, sugar, liver, kidney´s, and prostrate, i always get the response, no action to be taken, which is what i want to hear. I am 74, and i have never smoked, so apart from the PS, i am quite healthy. I will ask my doctor to let me try Dermovate, but if the doctor won´t let you use it for a prolonged time, what then, do you have to try a different cream. I wonder if the doctors just look down a list of treatments and just pluck one out of the blue. Surely there must be an ointment or cream, that works better than other ones, and that we can use it indefinitely, even though i know one doesn´t suit all.
Why i wonder why they don´t suggest taking tablets, as ivé said before, it´s a lot easier, than spending time splodging cream all over your body, and then putting your clothes on.
