As you will see there is a lot to learn in this group.I have had psoriasis for over 15 years and possibly longer. As a teenager I had scalp issues thought it was dandruff but I think it was psoriasis. Then about 10 years I had to see a dermatologist my scalp was horrible and had it a bloody mess. She gave me steroids in my scalp about 20 injections and I showed her how my knee was double in size. She told me suspected I has psoriatic arthritis and sent me to a Rheumatologist and did testing and also drained my knee.Talk about painful.I have been seeing him for almost 10 years.I was on about 10 different meds in pill form. Then he said I think it's time for biologics. Started on Remicade and after about 9 infusions I had bad side affects and had to stop.Had to wait for 6 months for my new biologic Enbrel 50 mg.I give myself an injection every Sat.it is helping the arthritis but I still have the psoriasis and I am hopeful it will eventually it will help my skin.I use all kinds of steroid creams and it helps for awhile. This is a horrible disease I am hoping one day to have clear skin.Hope you find some relief. A big Welcome to the
