Hello Soundsright to Psoriasis Club
Some people have had very good results with Humira and still do, unfortunately for me I had a reaction to it and had to stop, But don't let it put you off, I'm a fan of the Bio treatments and there are more and more coming through as well as some established ones.
I have yet to find anyone who has had any serious side effects, and you will be monitored well with regular blood tests. The trouble is with the Bio's as they are still fairly new they are often in the news and often spoken about, but that doesn't mean every patient suffers with the listed side effects. I would say the side effects are minimal compared to drugs like Methotrexate, though you will probably feel some flu like feelings when you first start. (But they will pass)
This post explains what to watch out for Humira (adalimumab)
Good luck with your journey and don't hesitate to start a thread about it in Prescribed Treatments For Psoriasis
Regards.
Fred.
