Wanted to say that coming to terms with Psoriasis can be a long road. I have had it since the age of 4 and am now in my mid 30's. It took me until I was in my late teens/early 20's before I could feel comfortable in wearing t-shirts and shorts during the summer.
Now, you can't get my legs/arns etc. covered when the sun is out!!
The best defence against stares and comments is to educate yourself as much as you can about your condition and then use that knowledge to educate others.. People only react to "different" when they don't understand it.
