Thank you for sharing, unfortunately it can come back after remission and once you have it it's for life. Some will say different, but in my opinion it's always there waiting.
One consultation we can take from it is that it can affect anyone at any time in their life so no one is immune.
That was something I didn't realise until after it came back unfortunately. It's not until you have it that you realise how many people suffer from it. I didn't know that it ran in my family until a couple of years ago. My grandad still gets it, and he just turned 80 last year. It's a sucky condition to have!
