Hello Chrisray and
Scin Cap was banned by the FDA after independent lab tests found it contained steroids, at least four different steroids have been found in different versions of the product. It was first banned in Spain and as far as I know is banned throughout Europe. The main ingredient Zinc Pyrithione is used as an antifungal and antibacterial agent.
PsorVal Spray includes the exact same ingredients as SkinCap / BlueCap, plus two additional ingredients which facilitates better absorption. here is the list of ingredients.
Zinc pyrithione is approved for over-the-counter topical use in the United States as a treatment for dandruff and is the active ingredient in several anti-dandruff shampoos. However, in its industrial forms and strengths, it may be harmful by contact or ingestion.
Zinc pyrithione can trigger a variety of responses
I've never used it myself, and wouldn't be to keen to try a product that has the same ingredients as one that was banned.
May not give the same results without the steroids but if you do try it please give us your feedback.
Fred.
