Sorry to hear you’re suffering with the itching, when it’s active it can be really disruptive.
My most useful topical when I was like that was sudocrem (in a pot) because it contains zinc oxide. It’s a bit messy unfortunately but I found it brought a bit of relief.
For the scalp I found Oilatum shampoo useful but it seems we all respond differently to different products so it can be a pricy time trying different things..
If your rash continues to get worse as you wait for the dermatologist do go back and bother your doctor. It’s really hard for them to understand how you feel just by looking at your skin so if you can’t sleep etc don’t forget to say.
