Hi again Quest-and thanks for a very caring and helpful answer. TBH it is a bit overwhelming. I had stopped using gloves as the doc said it might have been making the infection worse.
I confess, there is no way I will do even half of the things you said-I am just not that disciplined or prepared to go around slathered and covered.
I will take a lot of the advice onboard though, some I already do-but will do more.
I will keep you posted and many thanks for your help and concern.
