Stress does have a huge affect on psoriasis, I have also found it can make psoritatic arthritis flare up to. I have always said a positive attitude is one of the best treatments for psoriasis, however keeping positive is difficult in it's self.
It's a viscous circle you get stressed out, you get a flare up, you get more wound up about the flare up, and on it goes. you just have to try to pull yourself out of it and search for a positive thought, however small it may be it will help.
