After a month of Vitamin D supplements 3,200 IU. My ALT levels returned to normal and the my joints which were inflamed and sore, are no longer. My chronic plaque psoriasis had faded away also (very faint patches). Now it's been a few weeks since I finished the course, and my psoriasis has come back, but my joint and liver problems appear to be all good. I suffer with depression as well but I feel so much better in myself since I've been on the supplements. I feel less fatigued and tired and just better in general.

I think I've probably had a Vitamin D deficiency for years, in all honesty.

Thanks.

Hi A!

I've been on Vitamin D supplements for years now and I also have Non Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease. Sadly, although my Vitamin D levels are in the normal range now, I haven't noticed any improvement in my psoriasis or Liver Disease. Confused

I think it is getting fairly common for people to find out they have lower Vit D levels just due to not spending as much time in the sun. We've all been told how bad the sun is for our skin and with modern technology tend to not be outside as much. I try in the summer to get outside and get some sun as I find it helps not only with Vitamin D but there's nothing quite like fresh air and sunshine!

I'm glad you had improvements! Thumb
