Vitamin D supplements have been great for me. I had problems with my liver - Non Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (elevated ALT levels), GP had me get all my bloods checked and they discovered I had a Vitamin D deficiency below 12. After a month of Vitamin D supplements 3,200 IU. My ALT levels returned to normal and the my joints which were inflamed and sore, are no longer. My chronic plaque psoriasis had faded away also (very faint patches). Now it's been a few weeks since I finished the course, and my psoriasis has come back, but my joint and liver problems appear to be all good. I suffer with depression as well but I feel so much better in myself since I've been on the supplements. I feel less fatigued and tired and just better in general.
I think I've probably had a Vitamin D deficiency for years, in all honesty.
Thanks.
