I really worry about that so I make sure. I even have it programmed into my phone to make sure I don't miss the timing for them. No issues so far. My skin continues to worsen. My face is the worst. It's itching like a son of a gun. I do eat gluten free bread and noodles and rice noodles as well. I eat veggies as often as I can. I use a dip with a sour cream base and also hummus for the veggies too. So I am a lucky woman. I eat nothing but salads for lunches so I am good there too.
You and I started taking Methotrexate around the same time. My dermatologist said that it takes about three months on it before it really works well. I'm eating whatever I want and letting the medicine quiet the skin. Keep as many veggies as you can in the noodle bowl. Maybe you could get one with rice noodles instead of wheat noodles?
I'm cheering for you with these changes you're going through and wishing you the best.
Has your Derm given you Clobex in conjunction with the MTX?
I know they can boost the MTX. So I don't know what the doctor is going to do. Around my belly button is like an angry red hole. Kinda disheartening if you ask me. Anyways, I know I will have options so I will have to just be optimistic.
Talk soon, Forest! Stay safe!!
