I don’t think there’s any positive effect of exercise on skin, but I do think keeping up regular exercise helps my joints - having said that it’s mostly walking nothing vigorous - I used to find swimming good but I haven’t been for years partly because there’s only one pool and I haven’t been able to find a good time when :
a - I’m free,
b - the pool isn’t closed to public by local school swimming lessons,
c - the pool isn’t full of grumpy tutting lane swimmers..
and more recently you’re expected to book online etc etc so I have completely lost all interest in swimming as they suck the joy out of it since I’ve lived here.
I used to go to an exercise class run by my friend which was good but she moved on and I don’t have the motivation to go to another.
So walking it is which I do enjoy.
