Reactine = Cetirizine = Zyrtec so I have heard of it after all. Zyrtec helps with my allergy type symptoms but I didn't notice it helping with itching. But I haven't ever tried it specifically for itching so it's possible it did help some and I didn't notice.

So glad your daughter was safe Forest.

Itching actually can be harmful to the skin. Well the itching isn't it's the scratching part. Other than possible bacteria from fingernails, scratching causes the top protective layer of skin to breakdown and allows irritants and pathogens into your skin. But it sure is difficult to ignore the itch and not scratch. Confused
