You are lucky that you got the immediate care, the stent, and that your heart wasn't damaged. It's plenty to just have Lupus & Psoriasis. I hope your cardio-vascular system heals and doesn't give you any more trouble.
My partner smokes, also. He only smokes outside or in his car, though. He's talked about quitting (spends nearly $200 monthly on his cigarettes) but hasn't decided to, yet.
If you smoke inside, then see how much residue clings to walls by moving a picture or mirror aside. The residue clings inside of you, hardening your arteries. Smoking compromises your heart, even when you have low cholesterol.
M sister had a fatal heart attack at the age of 62 in early 2020. I miss her terribly.
So many things are out of our control, but you are stronger than you know. You have lived with two auto-immune diseases while working and living your life. That's like wearing a really heavy back pack while still doing the tasks healthy people do. Put that same back pack on someone healthy, and they would crumble. Not you. You are strong. You can do this, even if it's a wretched, temporary experience. So good that your husband is willing to quit, too. Your daughter will be grateful. And the money will be a windfall. Good luck. You can. You can do this.
