I almost cleared with diet. Try the Paleo AIP diet. It's quite strict but it works. Living on a building site at the moment without a proper kitchen so I have to cheat a bit so not completely clear yet. But it works! it's basically a total elimination diet with (slow) reintroductions when you've cleared.

It is about the same approach as Alan.
It also seems to prove that food is an essential element.
