And yes, Ozempic is a good med. See, Manitoba doesn't cover the cost for insulin, but does cover the cost of Ozempic. I am also taking Metformin. I hope you can turn things around, KatT! I hope you aren't diagnosed with diabetes. It isn't the end of the line though, if you do. I can and will support you, if and when you are diagnosed with diabetes. Although, I suspect that I will have to do that through PM's as this is a Psa site.(Mon-16-08-2021, 12:45 PM)Wintrman Wrote:(Thu-12-08-2021, 22:27 PM)KatT Wrote: WowHi KatT,
Great job! I'm sure it wasn't easy!!!
Oddly enough, losing the weight was easy. After I kicked the gluten habit and getting a huge helping hand from Ozempic ( a diabetic drug), I have now lost 30 lbs. You see, Ozempic KILLS your appetite. Drink 8 0z. of water and you feel like you have just eaten a 12 oz. steak and a baked potato. So no problem. Trouble is I have to force myself to eat so my blood sugars don't bottom out. It's a cross I am willing to bear however.
Cheers!

Ohhhh! I will keep that in mind my last blood sugar tests weren't so good and I may end up having to take medication for diabetes
