My condolences for the loss of your mother Wintrman.

You have a lot going on!

At the hospital, they usually have a dermatologist and a rheumatologist.  Can your GP get you an emergency appointment with them?  That's what my GP did for me as I need to consult a new rheumatologist.....maybe worth a try! 

Thanks for the condolences. I will give it a try and see if my GP can push things along a little faster. Seeing as there is only one derm in the area my choices are rather limited. He has referred me to a derm in Winnipeg in hopes of getting things moving along faster. I feel that my desperation to see a derm faster is because psoriasis has been eating at my organs and my skin for such a long time already, untreated/mistreated. With all that has happened of late, I am super sensitive about outcomes.
