My Journey to halt/end my psoriasis

So, last week I was curious how long a referral would take to see the dermatologist locally. Monday last week was day 3 of him having my file for the referral. The receptionist was kind and explained that the good Doctor hadn't had a chance to look at my file yet but said I should call back on Friday. Friday went by as I had decided I would give him a little extra time. Tuesday morning I give his office a call and the receptionist said that once he had a chance to review my file, he would decide in order of importance, who would get seen first, and once he had prioritized me, he would send me a letter in the mail in regards to an appointment.

The last time I was "prioritized", I never heard from him again. So I feel like I am getting the cold shoulder here. I wonder if I will EVER hear from him? Am I the only one that is reading between the lines here and getting the same message? Or am I being overdramatic? Thoughts?
