Can I have Covid vaccine with my psoriasis treatment

I’m feeling a sense of pressure to have the jab but only the Pfizer is being given to my age group, I have heard 2nd Pfizer is bad.

It’s all new tech, I’m trying to read more about it.
I’m always worried with how much the guidance is changing as to who can have what.

I still don’t feel I want it just yet

I totally understand! The decision was fairly easy for Mr. Kat and myself. Being in the older age group and having some medical issues it just made sense for us to get vaccinated. We both got the Pfizer vaccine and had no issues. My daughter had to think about it and was happy when she got the Johnson and Johnson one. She has 3 kids, one over 18 so he decided for himself (and did get the Pfizer with no problems) and daughter discussed it with her younger two (ages 17 and 13). The 17 year old wanted it so daughter let her get the Pfizer and now they have opened it up here to ages 12 and up (Pfizer only for the young age group) and she's taking her youngest to get the first one today as he also said he would feel safer vaccinated. She really struggled on getting the kids vaccinated but with them being more young adults than little kids, she also worried about them getting covid and what the long term effects of that could be. Plus they were old enough to discuss it with but still.... It wasn't an easy decision.

I will say other than a sore arm and a bit of fatigue after the second injection, we all did well as far as having no side effects.

I am seeing where some concerns have come up (heart issues, blood clots, etc) but it's also too early to say if those were caused by the vaccine or not. With mass vaccination there was bound to be some issues that come up for a small amount of people.

So all we can individually do is decide for ourselves what we think is the best way to go and hope we are right. Sadly with so much information out there it's more confusing than ever on who and what to believe.
