I have been in hospital a couple of times with P and the first time I was wrapped up in thick bandages with coal tar coated all on the inside. That's a very long time ago and now they have at least some more sophisticated treatment.

So this suggests that TL’s question is very valid...
What is it for? And why do they use it.....still...
What is in coal tar, that it should be useful for your psoriasis, does anyone know?
Looooong time ago, I have used a coal tar shampoo, but it did not have a mentionable effect on the skin between my hair either.
