Yes I’ll be getting one. I was reticent to take drugs or injections but since about 2012 and my psoriasis flaring up, I’ve tried loads of things from the hospital, and I think this vaccine is a lot less worrying than some of them.
On balance though, the very small risk of a side effect (which they cannot rule out) is lower than the risk of catching covid and getting very ill / dying / getting lasting lung damage etc.
But there’s another reason to take it - ‘the greater good’ otherwise known as the more people that take it the better chance covid will have nowhere to go.
I really hate the way things are now, and I find wearing a mask more irritating each time I do it, not less. So I may be slightly impatient to get ‘back to normal’..
