My skin was starting to look good. Even my joints felt better than ever.
I even ended up with slight swelling in my lower legs. Just had to come off it. I gave it 1 hell of a go but went through hell and back. I really wanted them to work.
Back to Hospital this week. Limited to oral as I have high blood pressure and drink
Hi Duncan I agree you gave it a good try and the sad thing is that it worked but caused so many other problems
Can I suggest when seeing the dermatologist this week that you ask about skilarence it's the same drug that I'm on but licenced and approved for use here in the UK I find it keeps the plaques clear and the psoriatic arthritis to just the odd twinge
It's not always the easiest drug to take (I won't sugar coat it) at the start you can have bad side effects and running to the loo is one of them abdominal cramps and flushing are also common at the start of treatment . The side effects if you get them do get better as your body adjusts....but and it's a big but.... if it works as it has for me and lots of other people it can give you long term clearance (for me 7 yesrs to date ) I would say worth a try if they let you try and with monitoring it's a very safe drug ...I rarely get ill when there's infections about just get the odd cold and haven't had any side effects apart from the odd flush for years
I hope you get something that works well for you without too many side effects
I was looking at Skilarene as my next choice. Only down side I can see is, 1 in 10,000 bet blood cancer. rather have bad skin than that.
Very low odds but so was getting a rash from Otezla, but I was the one who got it
