I was on MTX for 9 years , oral then injection and I had side effects that just got to bad so went on to injections and the same thing happened again. Never got complete clearance by a long way though it did keep both the P and PsA under control to an acceptable level. It now sounds like you are losing the battle with MTX and need to move on to other treatments and I would say bio's are the way to go but how your health system works I don't know, in UK you would be eligible to move on to bio's I would say.
We are all different so treatments work in different ways for each person but Cosentyx. would seem to be a very good one to go on though I am on Stelara and it's been life changing , works well for me on P and PsA though I am starting to lose the battle a little now and Cosentyx is the one that they have talked about which for most people seems to work much better for the PsA side than Stelara.
