I've had it on my face, and near my eyes at one point. I would be hesitant to use topicals with steroids on the face, especially near the eyes but then I tend to be overly cautious.
It would take a doctor to diagnose you so I would call back the doctor who said you have periorificial dermatitis and let him/her know the antibiotic isn't working and things are getting worse. I know that my first diagnosis was dermatitis which turned out to be incorrect (the meds didn't help me either) BUT that was a regular doctor who then sent me to a dermatologist. I'd call the doctor back and see what they say. Hope you see improvement soon.
