Hi Bronzely and  Welcome to the club it's a difficult problem you have what have you tried .... a quality virgin coconut oil is good for moisturising and soothing the itch .... but what meds have you been on in the past that have worked.... or aren't you on any meds yet

Good luck and I hope some of the members might have better ideas than me

You could try:
Coconut Oil
Calamine lotion
Wheat starch in your bath
Ice pack
Antihistamine cream

But most of all, stop scratching it will make it itch even more.

I'll move this to Psoriasis And Psoriatic Arthritis Topics and change the subject heading to something more suitable to draw attention from others.

Welcome to Psoriasis Club by the way  Wave

Hi Bronzely and welcome to the Club  Thumb.
I'm afraid the best I can offer is to use an over the counter anti histamine tablet. I use a UK supermarket own label Loratadine when the itches get too much and keeping a tub of Dermol in the fridge gives a little instant relief.

Hi, are you on any meds, are they helping at all? I've been prescribed Hydromol to wash with (greasy and makes the bath slippy) as well as the Dovonex (calipotriol) to put on the scales - they do help, as my patches are very itchy right now. Oddly enough I also use non-meds to help sooth them, like body butters (cocoa and/or shea), which, while not prescribed meds and not "meant" for PS, help me quite a bit.

Sudocrem in a pot in the uk - basically a nappy (diaper) rash cream containing lots of zinc. Pretty messy but you apply it at bedtime and wear pjs, I found it helped with the itching.

Hi and welcome , I am all for coconut oil and Johns anti histamine tablet which may help but it's a real sod to stop scratching when it itches so much.

a bit of Epsom salt in your bath. No personal experience, but hearsay. ArteMie has no bathtub, nor room for one =]
Hope it works for you.
