It's not so much the side effects it's that my P is raging out of control!! Can any of you fabulous forumers help? L x
Hello again Looby
Have you made the right decision? My simple answer would be Definitely
My longer answer would be and it's just my opinion but 16 years on Methotrexate is far to long and it's an awful drug that should be dumped, there are many more treatments available these days and yes they do have side affects as all drugs do, but Methotrexate has to be the worst in my opinion. So get it flushed out of your system, and start again.
I can't say if Fumaderm will be better for you because we are all different, but some of our members have fantastic results from it. That said some also say Methotrexate is great, so it goes to prove what is good for one may not be for another.
I'm with Jim, give Fumaderm time. A new treatment can sometimes have wonderful results, but some can take their time to get going. But if at the end of the day Fumaderm is not for you there are other options, and I would say that your psoriasis is "raging out of control" because you are worried about changing from one treatment to another. But anything in my opinion is going to be better for you than the dreaded MTX (methotrexate)
Regards.
Fred.
P.S As you have classed this as your proper intro, I have moved your other thread New to Fumaderm to Prescribed Treatments For Psoriasis so as not to confuse others. Especially those having to much red wine hey Jim.
