What ever you do don’t let him give it up. A little break at the moment while he’s getting sorted out, but make sure he gets back on the mats.
Mine are peeling quite badly at the moment, my GP seemed to think it was palmo plantar pustulosis, which is a form of psoriasis, but wrapping them in steroid cream at night and using a urea based foot cream seems to be helping at the moment, i’ve only been doing it for a week, but it’s made quite a difference. Wouldn’t recommend it long term, obviously due to steroids making the skin thin.
I will keep updating here as my treatment progresses.
I agree, we are a whole martial arts family, until my recent Psoriasis obsession took over I was 100% martial arts mom. I hope we all can get back there as it was a great place to be. Back to light training Saturday with fingers crossed.
I looked up palmo plantar pustulosis and I doubt it's the same thing. Looks more like his feet got really sweaty and rubbed layers of skin off....but to a serious extreme.
Anyway, good luck with the Stelera and I hope your training progresses with no more issues holding you back!
