For Cosentyx it says: "For Psoriactic Arthritis this medication has less preference.” Which once again shows the diffence between a patients view, a patients experience, the difference in between patients, the view of the medical world and the measurement/statistics/reseach that is and has being done by Pharmacy and Dermatology.
It also shows that there is always hope that a perhaps less preferred and obvious medication still can work for an individual patient. So if you are going to see your derm, stay armed with this knowledge !
That's why reading real peoples experiences on Psoriasis Club is far better than reading anything else. The information you are getting is from the horses mouth.
I have had psoriatic arthritis probably for as long as you have been on this earth and Cosentyx is the best thing that I have ever tried, it's far better than any of the other bio's but that is in my case and it could be just the opposite for others. Like you say there is a difference in patients and how it effects them, all I know is I've gone from not being able to cut my own food to having what I would class as a normal life for my age.
As for going armed with knowledge to my next appointment, there is only one other option for me at the moment and that is Taltz.
