Hello everyone. Today is "A" day, for antifungal day.
I am now adding 3-4 antifungals to my daily intake. I already had pau d'arco tea and took a resveratrol supplement. At the very end of the day I will also take an oil of oregano pill. Another option is coconut oil, which has capryllic acid. I think I will wait till later on in the week to do that though. I don't want to overdo the antifungals and cause an abrupt candida die-off, which would leave me feeling of having the flu/hungover. This is apparently due to the toxins (acetaldehyde) given off by dying candida, which I am trying to address by taking pantethine, which converts the acetaldehyde into acetyl CoA, which is good for the body's metabolic function.
As for my relapse due to the almond milk reaction, it has mostly subsided. The "new" mound under my left eye is gone, my eyelids and the triangle next to my eye are barely red, not inflamed or scaly. As a side note, with all the peeling going on with my right eye's crow's feet area, the crow's feet there are now barely noticeable. It looks like someone took an eraser and erased them! That however is not the same for my other eye, so I now have lopsided crow's feet. LOL.
On a side note, as I recently discovered almonds were a trigger for my case, I though I would try out a nightshade food to see what that would do to me. As the onset of my psoriasis coincided with my increased intake of salads for lunch (4 times a week), I suspected the tomatoes were the culprit. Last night I had a green pepper along with my cheese/tortillas-less turkey fajitas and got no reaction. I will try a tomato later on this week to see how that goes. Hopefully I can add tomatoes and green peppers back to my diet as I love them in my salads and as sides with my meat at dinner.
I also have gotten over my cravings for rice, potatoes and pasta as sides for dinner. I am loving the low-carb vegetable sides with meat.
Thanks for reading and have a great day.
