D (diet) day has arrived. I am starting my new regimen with either a 2 or 3 day cleanse. I may have to go for just the 2 days, as I weigh only 113 pounds and don't have much fat left to lose. For breakfast I had my bone broth concoction and since then have had four 8 oz glasses of filtered water. I plan on doing the same for lunch and dinner.
I also had one cup of pau d'arco tea (for the first time) and found that it tasted okay. Some people don't like the taste. I am going to start off slow on this, (one cup a day) as too much too quick can lead to rapid die off, which leaves people having flu like symptoms.
Also, I want to point out that for the past week I eliminated all nightshade foods from my diet and found in the past few days a good improvement on the raised, red, peeling patches on my eyelids. The redness is almost gone and I can feel just a little scaliness left. The same goes for the patch I had on my chin.
The worst areas are along my hairline, next to my temples, they remain unchanged. The other problem spot is a patch next to my right eye, where my crows feet are. That patch is less inflamed, but it is still red and scaly.
So we are off to a good start just by eliminating the nightshades from my diet.
Bone broth concoction: 2 cups organic chicken bone broth, 1/2 sliced onion, 2 cloves garlic, 3 cauliflower florets, black pepper, pink Himalayan salt, herbs d provence, simmered for 1/2 hour
