Coconut oil tips for psoriasis

I found that melting it helped with applying in on the scales and like I said I really liked the warmth, it was soothing.  I could still rub the oil into my scalp.  I had always used it straight from the jar, which works well but thought I'd give melting it a try and was really happy with the results.

Actually you have given me a thought.

I wonder if you could put it in a syringe (without needle obviously) and get it directly on the psoriasis under the hair. When I once had a lot of hair it was so difficult getting stuff in the right place.

That could possible work!  It's not super thick, actually when melted if I apply it too much it will run a bit but not too bad.  I found that saturating a cotton ball worked well to apply to scalp though I like your idea.
