regarding the patches on my face...well after many painful days rubbing one cream on after another with no change in fact the area was getting worse. More rawness, burning etc I went back to my Derm. who took a closer look
turns out it is not P on my face! It's a condition called Perioral Dermatitis
Most likely brought about because of the use of all the topical steroids
I was given a different med. and I am thrilled to say that only after a few short days the rash is near gone.
I am still steam rolling on with cosentyx. Especially now that I may only be able to use topicals extremely sparingly
That's great news Yvonne I'm glad your face has cleared up for you .... without that worry hopefully the cosentyx will work its magic
Thanks for the update .... it's easy and seems logical to assume that when a rash appears in our faces that it's psoriasis .... it's a good job you had it checked out and it turned out not to be
