I didn't give it much thought chalked it up to the hair colour I had just applied. But the patch grew and flaked and not long after my Dr, confirmed it was psoriasis. For the past 17 years it has completely covered my scalp, my knees. various spots on my back, toe nails etc. then just last week it is invading my face.
My Dr. is setting me up now to have cosentyx. I am excited and nervous at the same time. Afraid of the possible side effects, afraid it won't work, trying hard not to let this condition own me, But I am thankful to have the chance at being clear in nearly 20 years
Will be nice not to leave flakes everywhere I go..So glad to come across this site..Reading the experiences of others has helped put my some of my worries to rest.
Have no fear, GB is here
Yvonne and whatever you do, don't listen to the others about me, they're all fibbers
Grab yourself some coconut oil and rub it into your patches of P, it's brilliant stuff as a moisturiser
Come back soon Yvonne and let us know how you are getting on
