Hi Bill. Thanks for the kind words. I think the disease (whatever that may be) causes the food intolerances. I never had any food intolerances before the psoriaisis (not that I'm aware of.)
My suspicion is that it's a fungal thing, certainly some type of dysbiosis anyway. This may have been caused in my case by a severe case of food poisoning.
I've tried to avoid all foods that cause me aggravation in the hope that this would allow my body to get back into balance. I liken it to trying not to pick at a scab while it's still healing - you'll probably end up causing more irritation and infection and prolong the healing time.
But I realise that this is not a one size fits all type problem. What has worked for me may or may not work for someone else. I'm just thankful that I've found a solution. I hope very much that my experience may be helpful to someone else reading these posts. If nothing else, I hope it shows that this thing is beatable and control of it is entirely possible.
Can't wait to get on the beach next week and get some sun and sea. Both of which seem to help with this. Also, they're quite nice ways to relax
