Had a shower moment this AM (blinding flash of inspiration).
Jim's mention of something 'fermenting' had me thinking. There is a condition called Ketoacidosis. This is where your body produces acetones. Can be caused by low carb diets or diabetes. Chances are the electronic unit can see the acetone and confuses it with alcohol, where by the old fashioned is a chemical reaction and may not react with acetone. As you say the reading increases toward midday, this would follow a change in blood sugar levels. If you are not on a low carb diet it may be worth a quick diabetes check?

Well that reads like a very good suggestion of John.
In the mean time I have sent a message to my contact.

The workings of the Breathalyzer (why is it not a breathanalyzer?), is based on measuring aethylalcohol in the blood.
Fumaderm contains dimethyl- ánd aethylfumarate. After the process of methylizing or de-aethylizing, you get methylalcohol and aethylalcohol. My contact is not aware of possible reactions of the breathalyzer on methylalcohol, but it is quite logical that it reacts on aethylalcohol. So this means that it is very well possible that all Fumaderm users have this reaction, and that the Psorinovo users don't have this reaction. I should have it checked over here somewhere. But don't know of a way how to.

Thanks And that was today right? Without having taken the Fumaderm. That points to a different source.

Yes , doesnt seem to be fumaderm causing it. |
