Claire I'm not pushing the drug I'm on but if you can get it it might help your ms as well as they prescribe tecfidera for MS treatment and Fumaderm the drug I'm on has the same main ingredient DMF

Thanks jiml, I will speak to my MS nurse and see what he thinks. I was on capaxone for MS but the daily injections were too sore so stopped and have been trying to get replacement but not found one yet so this might help. Thanks

The idea is that you get treated for your psoriasis with Fumaderm. The side effect may be that your MS also gets better. But that last depends on the stage you are in. DMF works best against MS when this is still in the beginning stages. In Germany is a guy who has MS and treats himself with DMF.
The Dutch MS group is very satisfied on DMF for MS, even it it is the extremely expensive tecfidera.

I will happily take on board any advice that I can take to the Dr, MS nurse or neurologist, as I said before I've been fighting dr's etc regarding MS and a lot of info I got through an MS forum really helped. You can never have too much of information

Ok that would be great Claire.
I can advise you to read my thread on Dimethylfumarates and Psoriasis.
It is about psoriasis, but the practical reseach, already many years ago has already shown that DMF is a substance that helps for many auto immune diseases, among which MS. Recently in the VS a version of DMF came on the market specifically for MS, it is exactly the same working substance as Fumaderm.
