My dermotologist added another cream to my already endlessly supply. The cream is called Tazorac and is to be applied at nighttime. I'll keep this thread update with my thoughts.

It's somewhat new. I will be applying as directed with a steriod cream to that nasty patch on leg in an attempt to speed up the process

Not heard of it being used for psoriasis before it will be interesting to see the results.

It is a retinoid, aka a vitamin A derivative.

Small update...
This is the first cream that I do not mind using. Steriod creams do not work well for me - they do not clear my patches. Tazorac does not clear my patches, but does thin out the plaque. It also helps with itching. However, what I like best is the consistency of the cream - it is more or less a somewhat thicker oil, but not as bad as most creams. My only issue with stuff is the cost. At $1500 usd it almost more cost effective to just us a biologic.

That is the street value, Jim. If the markup is anything like DMF then the value of the active agent would be about a dollar.

Nice to hear you're getting a bit of relief for a change Matari.
When you say $1500 is that per tube or per year? also how much is in the tube and how long would you say it will last you ?

You can buy a 15g 0.1% tube from India on eBay for under $40 AU.
