Did you know that I thought this... was a fishing line instead of a whip?
I think fear in moderation can be a good thing. It can lead to being cautious, of course too much fear can lead to being paranoid. A gambler bets on the odds. Depending on how much he has to lose, or win, depends on which odds he's willing to play. I think the same goes for treatments. If the normal side effects are lesser than the disease, then most will go for it hoping they are not one of the "few" that the side effects are worse than the disease. And sometimes.... you just have to hope you beat the odds.

The gastrointestinal problems concern me, the flushes not so much (as I've heard them described here often) but I'd probably try it (if my current treatment stopped working and if it was offered, but since you all have made me smarter, I'd compare it to other treatments and weigh the odds on the side effects and success rates.)

Well then, maybe I am lucky, but I am on quite a dose, and have relatively low gastrointestinal problems. It certainly doesn't run down my pants so to say, hihi. So from my point of view the mentioned problems are far overrated. But.... I must admit, I am the only one on a different version of DMF.
