Just had my next dose of 200mg 4 weeks after the first so I'll give a quick update.
Side effects: Nothing to report here as everything has been fine. One good thing is that so far I haven't had a cold sore (Fred touches wood) I often used to get them or feel like I was getting one with Tremfya and it is one of the side effects with that, but I haven't had the feeling of getting on since starting Ilumetri. Maybe coincidence, but thought I would put it here for future reference. *Also the tiredness seems to have gone which I'm pleased about.
Psoriasis: As I mentioned at the start I don't have much psoriasis to talk about and my score when I started Ilumetri was 3 as a little patch had flared up on the side of my belly (see the difference below) so I think I can go down to a score of 2.
Start:
Four weeks later:
Psoriatic arthritis: Now to the important part for me, I'm taking Ilumetri for psoriatic arthritis (it's not approved for that yet, but looks like it soon will be) and I'm pleased to say it is working. Mrs Fred said the other day she had noticed I was moving around a bit better and I have noticed I've started to do a bit more without the pain. It's not perfect but I can definitely say it's getting better so my psoriatic arthritis score can go down from 18 to 10.
I still have the ankle problem and some days are worse than others, but I think the Ilumetri is helping a little.
So far I'm pleased, it's still early days but fingers crossed now I have the loading dose done it should start kicking in better.
Next dose of 200mg in 12 weeks time.
