Well, MRI is done! Step 1 on my journey to better health. Well, getting an appointment with the derm was probably step 1. So here's to step 2 to a healthier, happier me! LOL Next is to talk to my GP to see what he has to say about the results of the MRI, on Wednesday afternoon.

Good Morning, Friends!

Just had a chat with my GP. He said I do have arthritis in the bottom 3 vertebra, and the next 3 vertebra have bulging discs. Doc says it is osteoarthritis though, so I am in for a wonderful time in my latter years, dealing with pain. Golden years? Whoever conjured up that term must have been high on something when he/she created that term! Anyways, I am being sent to a specialist, one who I have been referred to before. Kinda like the derm, give referral and never get a reply back....at least not yet and it's been a good month since he got my present referral.  Doc says that the biggest issue is losing weight right now and it might help easing the arthritis and likely help with the bulging discs too. So, that's it for now my new found friends on the net. Have a great day!

Sounds like you should have studied to be a doctor Wintrman.

I hope you get some relief soon, mu wife has experienced bulging disc .................. not nice.

OH GOOD LORD, NO! I am nowhere near that! Like Mr. T said, "I pity the fool!"   Yeah. I have maybe gone to see a doc once every 2 years or so until I hit 50. Since then it's been like a revolving door.  If I saw my doctor any more often I'd have to invite him over for Christmas and other special occasions. Anyways, I been reading up on the bulging disc thing on the net, and yes, I agree. NOT NICE! So much to look forward to. At least I feel like I have a hope of looking better once I get my psoriasis under control. So sick of the itching and scratching and bleeding, etc. Maybe I am just feeling this way because in the future there is hope and frustrated over the inability to deal with it now. *sigh* It will get better....I hope!
