If you have a vaccine injection, then refrain from alcohol for at least three days.

It appears from research that alcohol lowers the immune response and can make the vaccine ineffective.

That counts me out then  15  Big Grin
I was relying on alcohol to kill off the virus  Whistle

Yes me too.

Nope that is not gonna work... this time.
Doh I was kind of counting on that  Whistle and its working so far

You should be like me and just drink water.

Hi There !

Interesting post ! January 19th i will have a new shot of Stelara. I always take care to be healthy. My Pso has gone away and im happy.
Yes , the question about Vaccine yes or not for patients using bio , is very useful.
I travel a lot , i start to read that many travel companies want to introduce a sort of passport for people who had vaccine and so on...
In case , my Derm says to avoid vaccine , what will happen ? There will be a paper for Immunocompromised or immunosuppressed people ?

Let's hope well.....

I saw something on the internet a couple of days ago that showed an app (not yet available I don't think) that could be used to keep up with vaccine info and used to show as proof you had the vaccine for traveling. I don't know how it worked nor if it's even a real thing. In the US, there are quite a few that are hesitant to get the vaccine and are quite opposed to anyone requiring it so I'm not certain how all of that plays out in the future.

But if countries do start to require the vaccine for travel I would think most countries would have an exception made for those who cannot receive it for health reasons.

Hello! Bigarm

So I’m back! I’m just trying to find info on how people found their skin after vaccines ?

I’ve not been called up yet, but I’m terrified that it might trigger a major reaction in me, I shall keep looking through the boards but if any threads come to mind please can I have the details? Thank you.

My skin was doing soooooooooooo well until the uk lockdowns and now I’m flaring all over and as a bonus this time I’ve got PPP to! Sad Thumb

Nice to see this place is keeping busy x

Hello Hanna good to see you again  Smile

I had a the pfizer jab and felt nothing and no reaction, no change to the skin where the shot went in or any bruising.

There is a lot of mention about it in various different threads, but I would suggest starting a new thread here Psoriasis And Psoriatic Arthritis Topics as it will get noticed better and bring you in more answers.

Regards.

Fred.

Hi Hanna, had both of my Oxford vaccines now and no problems at all. I am on Stelara but I have been okay in fact nothing at all.
Reading some investigation results, which haven't been pier reviewed yet , actually being on some of the biological drugs may be a plus.

Hi Hanna both myself and my wife have had the Oxford vaccine and had no adverse effect . My psoriasis hasn't been affected I'm pleased to say but I've been clear for years now and wondered how it might affect me
