Today was my first injection. They gave it to me in the back of my arm and as far as shots go, it was mild. The typical little (very little) sting and then no discomfort.
The next one is scheduled for Feb 28 and then it goes to once every three months. Since I've been using Taclonex, things have been going fairly well. Last Taclonex was 4 days ago (I would estimate that after the first week I've used it about once a week just to keep things under control) My ears and neck have always been the worst so I thought I would pick one area and post a starting picture. I won't clutter this thread with picture updates, but I will post another either at my next injection or sooner if I notice a significant improvement. The picture is a bit on the light side but it's too dark if I don't use a flash.

Good luck Kat I hope it goes well for you. The Taclonex has certainly made an improvement and that should help the Stelara get going.

Who knows maybe in a couple of months I can get rid of some of that gray hair (after stopping the dyes I've noticed just how gray I've become! Although granddaughter says it still looks more blonde than gray.... but she's a smart one and at 13 she knows that sometimes little lies aren't really bad if they get you brownie points with your grandmother!) The Taclonex certainly helped and if I could use it everyday for as long as necessary it would probably do even better but of course it's not to be used long term, that's why I cut it back to just keeping things at bay until I got started on Stelara

Great to see the before picture Kat, I can see that the taclonex has worked wonders but still a way to go...
Good luck with the Stelara, I hope it works well and fast for you .. You have a very wise granddaughter who is inheriting some of her Grandmothers wisdom and tact But she's right it does look more blond than grey |
