3 is about my worse mostly I'm around 1, and yes it is a great relief. Smile

But I'm not cycling or dancing with you.  NoNo

Thank you Bill. It does go up and down a little over the 4 week period, but the last one seemed to last longer than before.

Six Months On Cosentyx

Thought I would give an update as it's now six months since I started on Cosentyx.

Well what can I say? This stuff is amazing, I feel a totally different person. I'm able to do a lot more and I'm enjoying getting mobile again, hardly ever get any feeling of psoriatic arthritis and even when it's damp (the worst time usually for me) I don't have a problem. I do still sometimes feel the dampness sort of inside me, but don't get the pain that used to go with it.

I can make a fist in both hands without any problem and can lift both arms above my head. The right arm still won't go straight, but before Cosentyx I couldn't get it above my shoulder without severe pain.

Toes: These have always been my biggest problem with psoriatic arthritis and my little toes would sometimes be as big as my big toe, but now the swelling has gone and they no longer look like radishes. I'm walking 4 Km most days without problem and work in the garden is no longer a chore.

I can't remember ever feeling this good with psoriatic arthritis ever since first getting it over 30 years ago, my self-esteem has hugely improved and even the Winter didn't get me down.

This thread was intended as my journey with Cosentyx for psoriatic arthritis, but there is a bonus. The psoriasis has pretty much gone.

I'm leaving my scores both on 1 as I'm not 100% clear of either psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis. But I have had many days where I haven't noticed psoriatic arthritis at all and that was what I was hoping for................. No actually it's better than what I was hoping for, I honestly didn't think it was going to be this good.

So there you have it. I'm six months into Cosentyx and very very happy.  87

Thank you for reading and the encouragement given in this thread, I will keep updating and hope this information is of use to others.

Fred.
