Hello, and I hope today was better than the last. I am waiting to hear about patient assistance, but I'm wondering, is Novartis generous, is your insurance amazing, or are you paying out of pocket? Because I am literally falling apart head to toe and don't see how I can afford this until 2020.

There are several users of Cosentyx on the forum, e.g. alex.BMW has been approved recently, but he is from the UK.
Maybe Kat from the Forum Helpers knows a little on how that works in the US.

That is great for France! I have insurance. Patience assistance is limited and my plan has to allow it. I need coverage for my appointments and other meds. The AFA, I support, but was terrible, I was on on it for 2 years in NY.

I am on it. I have private insurance through my employer. With the copay assistant card I pay $0.00 out of pocket.

As suspected, I was turned down by my insurance provider yesterday for Cosentyx. I can't take Humira. I won't take methotrexate. So today I took home samples of Otezla which they will deny bc I have a crystal ball and that's what it says. Obviously feeling fantastic today

Certainly understandable that are feeling sh*t. I really don't understand what the producers of cosentyx think, if nobody will get the medication because it is to expensive then they will never get their investments back.
I do think it is positioned way too expensive, I really suspect that this price is deliberately positioned that high, and that the real costs (which we will never hear unless it is leaked by someone involved) are much lower.

Perhaps you should search for alternatives? E.g. Acetretin is available in the US, would that be a possibility for you? Several members do very well on that.

Yes, big pharma and just as bad, crooked insurance co. 

That looks like a straight psoriasis treatment? I have severe psoriatic arthritis. Although my nails are affected, my skin is not.
